Product description

The SplitRider Ultra Light is the latest model from e-Ability. The main difference compared to the standard SplitRider is its weight. The heaviest component of the Ultra Light weighs just 8.6 kg! This makes the SplitRider Ultra Light the electric wheelchair with the lowest lifting weight in the world. The SplitRider Ultra Light comes as standard with a matt black frame, giving it a very sleek appearance. In addition, the foldable electric wheelchair is fitted with a magnetic connector as standard. This makes it very easy to split the wheelchair into two parts.

Why customers choose Costa Mobility Service

  • My friend is of an age and an infirmness when a mobility scooter became a necessity. After checking reviews and local businesses we bought at Costa Mobility Service in Albir - quite some distance away - but well worth the 1 hour journey. Excellent service. Really helpful - and we were able to try the scooter before buying. We cannot fault these people. They took their time discussing all options and how to dismantle the scooter for transporting, charging, when to charge - everything. Amazing people. They even messaged outside working hours and we managed to arrange and buy a second hand scooter that was perfect for our needs. So - if you are looking to buy or rent - these people come very highly recommended 🙂 A photo is worth 1000 words - so photo is attached :-)

  • Started off with an electric wheelchair to satisfy the demands of the Hotel Kaktus Albir who do not allow full size scooters inside the hotel. It was not easy to control especially with the steering but I think my excessive weight had something to do with that. Managed to persuade the hotel reception that the mobility scooter option was the same size as the wheelchair and that it would not damage their lifts which is why they ban full size scooters and all was well. No complaints with scooter. Although small it handled my 21-22 stone weight with ease. It was pretty much in new condition delivered to and collected from hotel reception. Costa ask for a 150€ cash deposit to cover any damage done which is returned in cash at the end of the hire. Costa gave a good service and I recommend them.

  • We used this service last week for my Dad. It was his first time to use a mobility scooter. The service was wonderful and the team in the office in Albir were very helpful. The mobility scooter was very easy to use. We all had a very enjoyable day where we walked from Albir to Altea whilst my Dad was driving alongside us on the mobility scooter. Thank you. Highly recommend this service. 🙏
